And it's built into the vehicles themselves. The purpose-built Cybercab is designed for these riders from the start — bench seating at wheelchair height for easier transfer, Braille on the doors and overhead controls, room for a service animal, and trunk space for a folded wheelchair or other assistive devices, with a fully wheelchair-accessible version in development. Accessibility designed in, not bolted on.
It also points to younger riders over time: as accompanied, guardian-linked teen-ride programs mature, a safe, supervised ride can take pressure off family logistics — giving busy parents back some of the hours they'd otherwise spend behind the wheel.
And for everyone else, it's simply the easiest way to get around — and, increasingly, mobility you don't have to own: a dependable ride on demand, with no car payment, no license required, and no parking to find.
